Why my landlord/management company sucks

-They do not speak English.
-They do not understand English.
-They do not fix apartment problems. (For example, our sink’s hot water is messed up and there is a steady stream of water. The super sent a guy over, and he told us just to leave it on and said it wasn’t a big deal since we don’t pay for water shock )
-They are rude on the phone and put you on hold.
-They are condescending on the phone.

I cannot wait until we move out of this place. Seven more months!!!

Anyway, my T-Day was pretty awesome. My family (along with cousins) went out to a hotel to have our lunch. It was pretty decent and I noticed we were the youngest group there. Everyone else were old senior citizens. Haha!:D I ate a lot of other food (Jane’s delicious banana bread, my mom’s pumpkin muffins, popcorn, pretzels, burgers, fries, pizza, cream puffs, etc.

Oh, I finally got to see Harry Potter 4! It was pretty awesome. I think 3 and 4 are my favorite ones so far. ) It’s pretty exciting to see how the books are transformed into movies. When I first saw how quidditch is played in HP 1, it was a surprise because I imagined something more like lacrosse, but wizards on on broomsticks. I had no idea they were flying that high and quickly. Even though my sisters, dad and I were probably the oldest people in the crowd, I enjoyed myself very much.

Comment Spam

I am so SICK of comment spam. I installed this new comment spam plugin for WordPress and now it’s banning Sally. Why?! I had to remove that plugin and now I’m trying two other ones. Sigh. :stressed: I’m just sick of all these commenters spamming their porn and poker sites. mad

I don’t understand why my site keeps getting spam. I must get over 10 spam comments a day. Considering that not a lot of people visit my site, that is a lot! ( I don’t even get 10 real comments a day.

There was no point to this entry. If you know of a good spam plugin for WP, please feel free to comment. Hopefully, your comment will go through now. If you guys see any porn comments, I truly apologize.

Another political rant

I was reading http://news.google.com. I found out that GW wants to renew the double-standing Patriot Act! How absurd. I think I mentioned how I disagree with this act because it violates many vital human rights. Most importantly, it allows the government to tap your lines if you are a “suspected terrorist”. They don’t give you a proper trial, instead you have a military trial where a lot of your rights are not provided. I’m not going to go into specifics about it. You can refer to my previous GW rant about this matter.

The other news that caught my eye is the mine explosion in Northeast China. Seems like China is having it’s own little Industrial Revolution (about 100 years late). I’m pretty sure there are more people dead. China likes to censor the news, so who knows the real facts.

In other less important news, only 35 minutes until this dreaded commercialized holiday is over. It’s just another reason to spend money, buy greeting cards and eat a lot of chocolate. The good thing about this holiday is that tomorrow, all those Valentine’s candies and chocolates will be on sale. So run to your nearest CVS, Rite Aid, Duane Reade or Eckerd to catch them while they last! )
