I start my new position in the company on 12/29/08. I move to my new desk at 1pm on Friday (12/19/08). I am very excited and nervous about this new position. I am worried that I’ll be a big disappointment and all the people will think that I’m a fluke. I will work as hard as I can to prove them that it was worth the risk hiring me for a position where I don’t have any of the technical skills/background.

I just had a great weekend with the boyfriend. I got to meet the “parents”. It wasn’t even half as bad as I expected. They were quite polite and we had a good meal together. I would even call them cute. Oh, now I have a pink nano thanks to my thoughtful boyfriend (Jeff). He also got me the Nike+ attachment for the iPod. I did my first run on Tuesday. I guess this will motivate me to run more since I can’t afford a personal trainer anymore. Okay, I need to get to bed. I woke up at 5:30am to go to the gym!
