My new Macbook

I got it! I’ve spent the last day moving all my mp3s and important files to it. I also decided to try out Parallels and install XP just so I can work from at home. I also think, I’d like to have it just in case I get too overwhelmed by the “switch”. So far, it’s been really good. Liz has been a really patient teacher. Thanks!!

Just thought I’d keep you guys updated! For you Mac users, what are the must have programs I need? So far, I have: VLC, Firefox, Adium, Transmit, Candybar and JumpCut. Let me know, thanks!

  2. I’ve been using a Mac for about a year now. I purchased a new PowerBook G4 a month before the MacBooks went on the market (guess how great I felt about that…). A friend of mine uses Parallels. Says it’s a pretty great little program. Anyway, enjoy your new Mac )

Teresa said: I totally understand your pain. I got the generation 4 iPod just before the generation 5 came out. I was so pissed. (Un)lucky for me I dropped my iPod one year later and I was forced to buy a new one!

  3. Hey! I know you made this post a while back, but what kind of Macbook did you get?

Teresa said: I got the black Macbook, 1 gig ram, 120 gig HD, etc. It’s not a customized MacBook. Are you getting one? )
