Wang Chien-Ming

Ever since Wang Chien-Ming joined the Yankees last year, the little island of Taiwan has been obsessed with giant Asian pitcher. I admit that I secretly cheer him on because it’s nice to see a Taiwanese baseball player in the MLB. It’s about time! I am still a huge Matsui fan, but I have to give props to Wang. He pitched his second complete game and only gave up two hits! He had 17 groundouts and 1 strikeout. How awesome is that?

I’m going to a Yankees game on Wednesday and according to Taiwanese sources (my mom) Wang is supposed to be pitching. It would be good because then it will be the first time my parents ever saw him pitch a game. I think I’ve seen him twice last year. He is pretty good. We’ll be sitting at these really great seats and I think I’ll finally be able to see the players. I will definitely be taking pictures. If only Matsui was back in the game. I miss him!

Okay, well I hope everyone has a great weekend.

P.S. Why is everyone saying that the Mets are so good? So maybe they have the best record in the NL, but it’s still worse than the Yankees’ record and we’re in the wildcard chase!
