A note to the green line trains

Dear 4,5, and 6 trains of New York City,

When I am trying to get to work on time, please do not stop in a black tunnel for 10 minutes at a time while your conductor says, “We apologize for the delay. There is an emergency at 59th Street/Grand Central Terminal. There is a police investigation.” Or on Tuesday they said something like, “There is a sick passenger at 59th Street. There will be no 4 or 5 trains running from 125th Street to Grand Central.” It is the summer and customers do not enjoy fighting to get on a train from a disgustingly hot and dirty platform. Also, some people do not enjoy being crammed into a train with strangers’ body parts nestled next to them. Most importantly, when will the 2nd Avenue line be started/finished? Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

A concerned subway rider

  1. at least the train comes on time. the subway in toronto is very good, the same can’t be said for the bus system in neighbouring mississauga where i happen to reside. sometimes you can stand at the stop and the 2:35pm bus just doesn’t show up. except replace 2:35pm with any arbitrary time of day. i remember one day where i stood there and apparently missed 2 buses. evidently the only two invisible buses in town happened to be running that line…

  2. We visited New York a few summers ago. Remember, Im an Island Boy. When we rode the train I almost wrecked this dudes face for touching my ass. I guess it was unintentional because it was just packed. I hate crowded places. I dont know how you ladies can handle that. Im sure there is fondling done all the time in those sardine cans NY calls trains.
