Three delicious Shake Shack burgers
My friends and I ventured out to Madison Square Park on Sunday in anticipation for some good Southern BBQ. To our disappointment, we arrived too late and many of the participating vendors were out of food. Lynne was able to get some chorizo and brisket for a mere $7. As I saw people carrying the little trays of food, I realized that I would probably not be full with the small portions. I decided to wait on the Shake Shack line, which was surprisingly short for a nice day. I figured that due to the Big Apple BBQ, Shake Shack was not receiving the usual attention it does. In about 15 minutes, I made it up to the counter. I decided since this is probably the only time I’d get to go without waiting over an hour for burgers, I’d go all out and get the Shake Shack burger with fries. the food was done shortly and soon my friends and I were dining like queens. The burger was excellent. It reminded me of my favorite burger place, In-N-Out. The burgers were reasonably sized. Not huge like Jackson Hole’s burgers and not quite as small as White Castle’s mini burgers. It was the perfect size! Their sauce was also excellent. I recently finally made it to the famous secretive Burger Joint and I was not a big fan of their thin fries. Shake Shack fries were much more tastier.
I’m not the die hard burger fan, so I don’t know if I’d be willing to wait more than 20 minutes for a Shake Shack burger. I would consider going there when it’s raining though! What a perfect day to have a burger.
I changed my theme again. Any thoughts about this? I like the live search function. Check out my archives page. It’s kind of cool don’t you think? I’m still working out the kinks with this theme, so don’t be surprised if something doesn’t work.
Good night!
