I was listening to some music and I heard this computerized voice. It reminded me of the spelling game I used to play. I searched on Google to see if it could find the old toy I used to play. Three seconds later, I learned that it was the “Speak & Spell” by Texas Instruments. It was so fun to play. I would like to believe this is a big reason why I am such a great speller now.
Go play Speak & Spell online. It will bring back a lot of good memories. I’m pretty sure a lot of you won’t remember this because you are either too young or too old. Suckers!!

If you get the chance, download Dane Cook – Harmful if Swallowed. He’s a stand up comedian. It’s a rather big file (50ish megs) because it’s an entire show but halfway through he mentions Speak & Spell. It’s hilarious.
