New theme

I decided to use a new theme. Maybe I’m just hoping Spring will be arriving soon by using this new green theme.

So, Meredith Grey is such a punk. Why does she continue to do such terrible things? Poor George!

I’m sore from the gym and dancing last night. I hope I can make it to the gym tomorrow (actual today) at 7 am. Let’s hope for the best!

Work is going to be rough this week.

My ENNEAGRAM results

I haven’t updated my site for over a week. I didn’t even realize this. I don’t have anything exciting or interesting to talk about unfortunately! I decided to take this ENNEAGRAM test. It only consisted of two questions, so I guess this will be a starting point for me. Here are the results:

the Perfectionist
Test finished!
you chose CZ – your Enneagram type is ONE.

“I do everything the right way”

Perfectionists are realistic, conscientious, and principled. They strive
to live up to their high ideals.

How to Get Along with Me

  • Take your share of the responsibility so I don’t end up with all the
    work.
  • Acknowledge my achievements.
  • I’m hard on myself. Reassure me that I’m fine the way I am.
  • Tell me that you value my advice.
  • Be fair and considerate, as I am.
  • Apologize if you have been unthoughtful. It will help me to forgive.
  • Gently encourage me to lighten up and to laugh at myself when I get
uptight, but hear my worries first.

What I Like About Being a One

  • being self-disciplined and able to accomplish a great deal
  • working hard to make the world a better place
  • having high standards and ethics; not compromising myself
  • being reasonable, responsible, and dedicated in everything I do
  • being able to put facts together, coming to good understandings, and
    figuring out wise solutions
  • being the best I can be and bringing out the best in other people

What’s Hard About Being a One

  • being disappointed with myself or others when my expectations are not
    met
  • feeling burdened by too much responsibility
  • thinking that what I do is never good enough
  • not being appreciated for what I do for people
  • being upset because others aren’t trying as hard as I am
  • obsessing about what I did or what I should do
  • being tense, anxious, and taking things too seriously

Ones as Children Often

  • criticize themselves in anticipation of criticism from others
  • refrain from doing things that they think might not come out perfect
  • focus on living up to the expectations of their parents and teachers
  • are very responsible; may assume the role of parent
  • hold back negative emotions (“good children aren’t angry”)

Ones as Parents

  • teach their children responsibility and strong moral values
  • are consistent and fair
  • discipline firmly

Wow, so I’m a perfectionist? I never really imagined myself being a full perfectionist. It’s weird how answering two questions can result into this. I looked at the cons of being a perfectionist and I pretty much agree with all of them. So, what are your scores? Let me know! Anyhow, this was a poor excuse for me to update my site.

I’m so excited that women’s figure skating will be starting in a day! I really hope an American medals. That’s all I ask! I promise to update my site with more exciting junk. Stay tuned!

    Blizzard of 2006

Wow, I had doubts about this so-called blizzard. I went to Duane Reade for provisions when the snow started yesterday afternoon. I called my roommate who was stuck in DC for a day and was trying to get back to NYC before this storm hit. I asked her if she needed anything since it was snowing and I didn’t plan on going out. She requested some Fresca, which was readily available at the store. I told her that it was snowing. At this point she had already made it to Newark and was trying to make it back to NY. She arrived at 5pm and told me that I totally exaggerated how bad the snow was! Anyhow, we went out later that night to have some delicious desserts at Serendipidity 3. We were lucky to find a cab back. It was getting STORMY! We came home and went to bed.

We woke up with a blanket of snow. I decided I’d go see just how much snow there was and go to the gym since I figured no one would be going outside today. What a mistake! There were so many people at the gym. I assume they were thinking just like me, but I guess it was worth it. I had to lug my heavy Doc Martens through the snow, but there really would be no other way I could have walked to the gym without slipping.

I came back home and Lynne was ready to “play” in the snow. By this time, the storm was worse and it was colder! We barely made it two blocks to our local bagel shop. We then had to go BACK to Duane Reade because someone did not ask me to buy Alka Seltzer yesterday! Anyway, that was our adventure in the storm. Now we are at home watching great movies such as “Can’t Hardly Wait” and “Selena“. We will be having sandwiches and warm Italian Wedding Soup for dinner. Then it’ll be time for some Grey’s Anatomy! Oh, did I mention, my roommate’s flight back to DC has been cancelled? Woohoo!

Here is a picture of the beautiful snow:

    See the rest here.

Lastly, as much as I love Michelle Kwan, I am glad she graciously stepped out of the Olympics. She hurt her groin during practice. I guess she realized that she really had no chance in winning the gold. I’ll have to root for Sasha Cohen and our Long Island favorite, Emily Hughes.

    Winter’s back

Wow it’s been pretty cold this week. There might even be a snow storm tomorrow! So who loved Chloe’s design on the latest Project Runway? I was rooting for her so badly. She deserves another win. I can’t believe it’s down to four. I hope Santino gets kicked out soon. All the judges love him even though he’s so egotistical and his designs are always too much.

I linked up my RSS feed to FeedBurner. There’s actually a handy WP plugin to get it done. D It’s pretty nice!

Anyhow, I’m so excited this week is finally over. I spent two days testing my company’s new software and website. I found a few major bugs. I hope they fix them before the big release. Okay have a great weekend guys! I’m excited that my roommate is coming home tonight! grin

Most importantly, the Olympics officially start today. Go USA! :-P

    Zhang Zhen Yue

Here is a picture of this Taiwanese singer my parents drove me three hours to see! )

Zhang Zhen Yue singing a love song to me.

I managed to use my entire 1 gig memory card. I guess it didn’t help that I made so many videos. I made a whole video of my fave song, “Ai Wo Bie Zou”. It made me mad that he let the Cantonese singer sing it with him! ( More pictures!

Anyway, I better get ready for work. Happy Tuesday!

    Steelers win!!!!

Wow, I’m so happy the Steelers finally won the Super Bowl! )

Anyhow, it’s been a crazy weekend. I went to Foxwoods to see my favorite male Taiwanese singer, Zhang Zhen Yue. He was awesome!!! Thanks so much to my parents for taking me. D

Whoever is a Grey’s Anatomy fan, you MUST see the latest episode aired after the Super Bowl. It is crazy!!

I’m sad that it’s officially Monday. That means I have five more days until the next weekend. Wah!!
