Mmm dim sum

Delicious shrimp dumplings at my favorite dim sum place in Flushing–Gum Fong.

To view other food pictures, click here. Speaking of food, I spent $3.19 for one can of Campbell’s Select Italian-Style Wedding Soup.

I blame this on Jane and Chris’s doing! Now I’m asking my lovely mom to buy me some more! Although it’s way overpriced in NYC, it was definitely worth it. It went very nicely with my pepper jack grilled cheese )

In other news, GO STEELERS!!! D

Please help me find a new apartment in NYC! I can’t live in this “mini apartment” any longer! Good night.:tired:

P.S. Is it normal to cry during every episode of this show? I love Jennifer Love Hewitt!

  1. Pretty, pretty pictures of dumplings…i haven’t had dim sum in so long!!! Yum, Italian Wedding Soup. You can buy a case of it at Costco! Just share it with someone–high sodium.

  2. i was just gonna mention that costco has a case of that for cheaper than $3/can; as a matter of fact, i just bought a case of it yesterday

where’s the dim sum place? when i was in NY for christmas, my fam and i went to this place off kissena (i forget the name of it, but it’s near Flushing Hospital). the food was ok, but they were seriously understaffed for the monday after christmas…

Teresa said: Costco is the bomb. Each can comes out to $1.38 rather than $3.19! ) I think I know what dimsum place you went to. Was it called East Lake? I’m not a fan of that restaurant. I found the dimsum cold the one time I did go. My favorite place, Gum Fong, is located at 36-28 39th Ave. It’s right near the big municipal parking lot in Flushing!

  3. yeah! that was the place…there’s another one over on main street (i think) which is always crowded too. i’ll have to ask my mom about Gum Fong

  4. Been awhile since I’ve had dim sum…once my brother moves to DC hopefully I’ll be able to visit him often and find a good chinese restaurant that serves them.
