My trip to Yankee Stadium

I was fortunate enough to go to the yet another Yankees game last Thursday. I managed to survive without spending a dollar at that over-priced but delicious smelling stadium! It wasn’t by choice though; I couldn’t find my bank’s ATM machine. Anyway, I went to see Wang Chien-Ming pitch his first real game since his injury. He didn’t do too bad, but the rest of the team sucked (besides Matsui of course!)

I went with my friend, Rob, who was very kind to give me his extra ticket. We noticed that there were a lot of Asians at the game. Probably because Wang Chien-Ming was pitching and the fact that Matsui is an international star!

Unfortunately, we lost badly to the pathetic Tampa Rays (8-4). At one time we were making a comeback, but to our disappointment, our bullpen sucked and gave up 2 more runs. Then time just ran out.

In good news, we won 2 out of 3 in the Yankees vs. Boston series here in NY last weekend. Hopefully we can make it to the playoffs either as a wild card or the winner of the American League East.

Hi!

Wow Robby Ginepri beat a #8 seed to make it to the semi-finals of the US Open. I can’t believe it! My family and I watched him on Monday night and we had to leave early because his game was forever! Turns out he won even though we thought he was too tired to win. It’s pretty amazing. Then he played another 5 sets today (grueling) and survived! No one expects him to advance further than the semis, but that’s okay because he’s unranked! Right now, Agassi is losing to James Blake, which is also pretty crazy.

In other news, I went to see Red Eye and the Wedding Crashers last weekend. They were quite entertaining. At one moment during the Wedding Crashers, I was laughing so hard I had tears. I wasn’t a fan of the cheesy ending though.

I’ve been going to the gym a lot. No matter how early I go to bed, I can’t seem to go to my 6:30 am gym class. Hmmm.

I better go to bed. Good night!:tired:
