In other news, Matsui saved the Yankees yet again. He rules! I can’t wait to see them play. :giggle:
I had Cheesecake Factory for lunch yesterday, delicious Italian food for dinner yesterday, dim sum for lunch today and fresh Japanese ramen noodles for dinner. What an awesome weekend!
By the way, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was great. I knew Johnny Depp would rock as Willy Wonka!

Back on the Island!
Jul 30th
I’m back at home where central air is comforting and quiet. I made the “trek” back to the Island yesterday. I would only go back if my parents had dinner with me at my favorite noodle restaurant. And we did. I had some delicious beef noodle soup. Accompanied with some tasty scallion pancakes. Mmm. And I topped it off with some spinach and lobster.
After dinner we decided to go to TenRen’s where a disgruntled worker took my order. I must have really made his day when I decided to change the size of my drink to large. My drink still tasted pretty delicious even though the guy was really mad. I had a passion fruit green tea without any tapioca balls. Mmm mm!
Our last stop in Flushing was my favorite Taiwanese bakery. I bought a few baked goods. I had one today for breakfast. 
Now we’re heading out to see “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and then we’re going to Costco!! I’m going to buy a ton of stuff. I love home!

Jul 17th
My company had its fanciest company get together on Friday. We had a dinner cruise and it included a sit-down dinner with free drinks. For the first time we were told that jeans were not allowed on the ship! Crazy. I had to wear a dress! Anyway, it was pretty cool seeing all the people who work at my company. Ever since I moved to the 5th floor, I haven’t been introduced to any of the new hires or interns. Oh well!
On Saturday and today, my roomies and I hung out with their sister-in-law. We went to Jersey City and shopped all day. I didn’t find anything that I absolutely needed or wanted. Today I dwid cave in and buy myself the “Everyone loves and asian girl” t-shirt at Urban Outfitters. I only got it because of the employee discount. (40%!)
I don’t really have anything exciting to say except that the Yankees took the Bosox series, so that was nice. Yay! I think this is the closest we’ve ever been in the American East League. Let’s hope we keep it up! I better get to bed. I think I’ll do some reading before I turn in.

Okay, I finally got off my lazy butt and uploaded my pictures of Alice & Mike’s beautiful wedding.

Click the above picture if you want to see all my pictures. I took a picture of every bridesmaid and groomsman. I am cool I know! There are only a couple pictures of me in my goddess dress, but I was wearing my white sweater because it was so cold!
In other news, my friends and I were lucky enough to see Wang Chien-Ming pitch on Friday. He was a bit shaky at times, but he pulled through for us! I’m disappointed I didn’t get to see Mo pitch, but I heard he almost blew the save.
On Saturday, I went to my first baby shower ever. It was quite an experience. I’ve never seen so many little babies (4 years old or younger) who could had better dance moves than me! I’m a bit jealous.
I better go to bed. I can’t believe it’s Monday again. :stressed: Enjoy the pictures! Good night.

Sorry for the lack of boring posts! I went away last weekend to Southern California for a family wedding. It was great. The food was delicious. I can’t believe I liked all five courses and the three dessert stations! Mmm!
Anyway, I have no good pictures to post yet. If I ever do get some, I will post a few up.
Today I was supposed to go to a Yankees game, but thanks to Hurricane Cindy and Dennis, that won’t be happening. I just hope people will pay me for the tickets anyway. You can use it for another game, I think.
I’ve been spending too much money on food. I must control myself. I can’t let my laziness get in my way. I hope everyone is well!
