Wow, yesterday was a dramatic day for me and the whole apartment thing. I won’t go into details, but our leasing company finally understood why my roommates and I were so misinformed. The main reason? Our broker doesn’t get his facts straight and he never tells us the truth.

Oh well, all is well and we will be moving in on Saturday and myself on Sunday. I wish I could move in on Saturday, but I have to work.

I can’t believe this is really happening. I’m both excited and scared. More scared since this will be the first time I’m going to be living in New York City, surviving on my minimum wage. This will definitely be a big test for myself. Hopefully I’ll succeed and consider this just another learning experience for me.

Lastly on my blog agenda, what did you guys think of Lost’s two hour season finale? I knew that those people on the boat were up to no good. Why were they castaways so oblivious? If they were only 15 miles from the island and they found other people, isn’t it a little strange that these people didn’t know there was an island? Also, they looked pretty damn shady to me!

I better get packing!

Wow, who would have expected this ending? I am in shock. I really don’t know what I’ll be watching during the summer. Who else thinks George is a hilarious character? I absolutely love Cristina’s bluntness and sarcastic personality. I’m really sad that there will be no more good TV until the fall. I missed the Desperate Housewives finale. I will be watching it via other means, but that will probably be later this week. The only finale left is Lost’s two hour finale on Wednesday. Good thing I don’t have work on Thursday!

I went to Ikea today for the first time. My mom and I decided to buy a closet, dresser and a desk. It turns out that the closet is HUGE and couldn’t fit in our little Camry. I don’t know what I’m going to do now. I guess a dresser is better than nothing! It’s scary to think that in less than a week I’ll be living it up in my mini apartment.

Anyway, it’s way past my bedtime. I hope you guys had a great weekend! By the way, the Yankees won 2 out of 3 for the Subway series. Not too shabby!
