In less than 24 hours I’ll be in sweet Pittsburgh. Hopefully I’ll be enjoying some late night food with my friends.
Carnival is going to be awesome.
I probably won’t be updating my site until Sunday, so don’t miss me too much.
Some random acts of kindness I’ve observed and participated recently:
1. I saw an ice cream man give a flyer man a free ice cream yesterday.
2. I saw my elliptical neighbor leave her watch on the machine when she left. I then tracked her down and told her about her watch. (1000 points for me!)
3. I saw a young man help a mother carry her stroller downstairs at a subway station.
4. A man overheard my friend and I discussing our plan of taking the L train and he informed us that we have to catch it at 14th street rather than 23rd street (what I thought). Then when we were at the Union Square stop, he reminded us to get off.
ops:
New Yorkers do have hearts.
i like it when people do nice things!
i shared my unbrella with someone today!
and i thought i was the last nice guy left on this gosh forsaken planet. new york seems nicer than mississauga right now. and i love that there’s a union station in like every major city
.
aw, i like #4 the best.
