One step closer
Apr 30th
Wow a lot has happened with my apartment hunt. Basically, my friends and I are pretty close in signing the lease. We are mailing in our certified checks to our real estate agent. Hopefully this won’t fall through. My dad and I went to see the apartment on Wednesday and it was amazing to see how much the construction workers did since Friday.
I’m supposed to be going to Ikea tomorrow to buy some things. I’m not sure if we will since I don’t know the measurements of my room.
I went to see Beautiful Country at the Tribeca Film Festival last night. It was pretty cool because the actors, director and screenwriter were all there. They held a Q&A after the movie. Nick Nolte is one eccentric man. He went on a rant about the Vietnam War and how these days people can start wars for any reason. I enjoyed the movie. It was a bit long though. I didn’t get home until 1:15 am. I was sooo unbelivably tired. I tried not to fall asleep during the car ride home.
Lastly, who was mad that GW had to take over the OC’s spot on Thursday! I had rushed through making dinner and I was all excited I finished it at exactly at 8 pm. I turn on the TV to see a news conference.
Oh yeah, congrats to Ann’s engagement!!! :-P
Apartment Hunting
Apr 24th
My friends and I spent this weekend apartment hunting. Leslie and I went to see the famous Upper Westside apartment just “steps away from Lincoln Center”. It was very badly kept and we just didn’t like it at all. On Friday, we met with a real estate agent, who also happened to be my high school alumni. We saw this super cute apartment in the Upper Eastside. Lynne came in on Saturday and went to see it as well. She loved it too and we submitted an application yesterday. We need to submit the another one (by the management) and then send it in as well. This is my first apartment rental so I really don’t know how the whole process goes.
My friends and I are already planning on what furniture to buy. I think we’re counting our chickens before they hatch, but we can’t help ourselves!
By the way, I’m addicted to the new show, Grey’s Anatomy. It’s so great! I love Patrick Dempsey. I recognized him from somewhere and just found out that he was from “Sweet Home Alabama“. What a cutie!
Go visit Ashley! She’s finally back.
Ari Hest is tall
Apr 19th
Wow, it’s been really beautiful here in NY and in Pittsburgh. I heard that it’s going to be 86 tomorrow! I’m definitely wearing a skirt or capris tomorrow.
Ari Hest must be like 6’3″. I only reach up to his shoulders. He gave a great performance at CMU. His drummer is really nice as well. I thought it was funny when these girls tried to invite the drummer to a party.
Good night.
My Last Carnival
Apr 17th
Wow, I had no idea 4 days could pass by so fast. It was so awesome to be with my good friends again at CMU. We had a lot of fun and I can’t wait until everyone is in NYC. It’ll be good times once again.
Ari Hest gave a great performance and I was lucky to take two pictures with him. I also met his drummer. What a night.
I’ll give more details tomorrow!
My April Vacation
Apr 12th
In less than 24 hours I’ll be in sweet Pittsburgh. Hopefully I’ll be enjoying some late night food with my friends.
Carnival is going to be awesome.
I probably won’t be updating my site until Sunday, so don’t miss me too much.
Some random acts of kindness I’ve observed and participated recently:
1. I saw an ice cream man give a flyer man a free ice cream yesterday.
2. I saw my elliptical neighbor leave her watch on the machine when she left. I then tracked her down and told her about her watch. (1000 points for me!)
3. I saw a young man help a mother carry her stroller downstairs at a subway station.
4. A man overheard my friend and I discussing our plan of taking the L train and he informed us that we have to catch it at 14th street rather than 23rd street (what I thought). Then when we were at the Union Square stop, he reminded us to get off.
ops:
New Yorkers do have hearts. :-P
New Template
Apr 8th
How do you like this new template? :-P
I finally customized it so the search form works! Thanks to Rob from WP Support. Before, the sidebar was all the way to the bottom.
Now it’s perfect!
Jittery
Apr 6th
I guess that would describe my current mood.
Here are some random things in my life right now:
-I’m about to get $150 worth of drugs to treat my acne, which isn’t even that bad. Is it worth it?
-I have my first “assessment” at work tomorrow.
-It was 72 degrees today. It was quite beautiful.
-I was stuck in the subway for an extra 45 minutes. No A/C and lots of sweaty people.
-I just watched, “Super Size Me“. It was pretty disgusting. I’m glad I’m not a big fast food eater. I can’t believe someone would be crazy enough to go on the McDonald’s diet for 30 days straight!
-Why did the ex-Smallville star die on “Lost“? I will miss you Boone!
-Speaking of TV, where did One Tree Hill go? Has it been cancelled?
-I’ll be seeing Ari Hest and The Shins next week at Carnival.
-I get free food at work now!
Gallery is Back!
Apr 5th
I upgraded my gallery, and now all the pictures are back! I can even do watermark for pictures. I think it looks pretty stupid. This one girl hotlinked all my Gavin DeGraw pictures. That was NOT cool.
I’m glad my site is up and running! Good night. :tired:
i’m back

I’m finally back. I bet you’ve missed me right?
Thank you Surpass for dealing with all my questions.
:thoughtful:
Annoyed
Apr 1st
I just found out that the reason my site is showing up as a pixel is NOT my fault. It’s due to my host. My cousin is having the same problem and she’s hosted by the same company. We are both very upset.
Why won’t they respond to my e-mail?
I’m switching hosts now. This site might become unavailable. Sorry guys!!
