This weekend I watched three movies. They were: The Grudge, The Notebook and Constantine. I will share my thoughts on each of these movies.
First of all, The Grudge was a terrible movie. I feel that although it was scary, there was really no clear storyline. Unless you call killing every character in the movie as a plot. It’s weird that this movie is remake of a Japanese movie (just like The Ring), yet all the main character, Karen (played by Sarah Michelle Gellar) is American. It takes place in Japan, which is just weird. Anyway, I was warned by many people just how bad the movie is, but I wanted to watch something scary, and I thought that it couldn’t be that bad. I was so wrong.
The next movie I watched was The Notebook. I had doubts about this movie. I figure it would be yet another cheezy romance movie (just like A Walk To Remember). Although it was cheezy, I really enjoyed it. There were some parts where I started to cry. I wish my real life could mimic the movie. Meeting my soulmate at age 17. That would be so cool. I really liked how the story was laid out as well.
Lastly, yesterday, I went to see Constantine with my family. I really had no idea what it was about except that hell doesn’t want him but the world needs him. Haha. Keanu Reeves looked pretty good. I didn’t quite understand the ending, but there were some pretty interesting effects. I do wish we went to see Hitch instead. Maybe my parents would understand that movie more. I love Big Willie!
Okay, well that’s about it to my movie review entry. I was having some problems with my sidebar on the right. In Internet Explorer, it used to move all the way to the bottom right. Now it seems okay in both FireFox and Internet Explorer. This theme is pretty hot. I also figured out how to display my archives on a static page. My life is complete!
By the way, my commute back home today was pretty horrendous. I’m currently angry with the F, V and 7 trains. Thanks for not showing up today!
Good night guys!:tired:
