Today is the first day of winter (I believe!). On Sunday night, we got our first snow. Lucky Long Island picked up a couple inches of snow. My father and I shoveled the snow before we left for work. I ended up being about 25 minutes late for work, but that’s okay because I made up the lateness by staying later. Also, no one else was here at 8:30!
I had a good weekend. I went out with my friend Grace. I finally met up with some fellow CMU alumni. It was nice. I don’t usually go out more than once a month because I’m usually too tired and going into the city is such a pain for me. I’d rather just be antisocial!
I got a new cell phone. After my phone accidentally called my dad at 4 am, I decided it was time to try a flip phone. We’ll see how that goes. Samsung’s menus are a lot more confusing. Maybe it’s because I’m so used to Sony Ericsson’s menus. The ringtones are cooler on this phone though.
I better get back to work. Speaking of work, we got free food again yesterday. I really think my company should require everyone join a gym. Otherwise we’ll be come fatties!!
food is just awesome period. but free food takes that to a whole other level!
I have read a number of blogs about snow.. and it makes me jealous. Deathly jealous that I am yet to experience a white Christmas.
Although they are having this fake snow thing at the local shopping center.. from 6-7 PM daily till the 23rd, they will be showering shoppers with FAKE SNOW. But fake snow just isn’t going to cut it.
hello…i was looking around and i found this and i was woundering what this is….is it like a xanga?…it looks like it….
Jasmine: Aww, well it’s still not going to be a white Christmas here. It’s 50 degrees (F) now! Boohoo.

Basically though my site is a blog, which is what xanga is as well.
Yes this is just like xanga, except it’s on my own domain name. Also, it’s more customizable than xanga. I can change my layout and there are also a lot more options.
Teresa,
The third snowstorm in two weeks, and this one is the worst so far. What did I do the majority of the day today? Shoveling the snow, and the sidewalks still need to get done…and winter just started…such is life in a northern city.
Hey Judy! I heard about all the snow in the midwest. At least you’ll have a white Christmas.
Shoveling is a great workout. This way you can eat a lot more for Christmas without feeling guilty. I hope you guys all have a great holiday!
I do like snow on Christmas Day. Wouldn’t be Christmas without snow, I think, but snowstorms, especially this one, are another thing!!!:):):) The last two really didn’t bother me a whole lot since I managed to clear the snow off the sidewalks and driveways without any complaints. Today, though, try more than a foot or two of snow.
