It’s official! I’m going to see John Mayer on December 29th. YAY! I’m so very excited. I’m bringing two my friends. I have one extra ticket; I don’t know who to give it to. I don’t think I know anyone who would be willing to watch John perform the blues. I’m soo excited. I didn’t even have to wait when I purchased the tickets at noon. It was quick and painless.
Good night!

What A Weekend!
Okay, I’m about to go to bed, but I decided I’d write a quick little entry. So, where should I begin? Well, on Friday, I attended my little sister’s Asian Night event at her high school. When I was in high school, I also participated in this event, and it was interesting to see what happened to it after 6 years. Wow, there were a lot of changes. The food at the dinner was no longer mainly home-cooked. Everything was take-out and there were half as many dishes as before. What a letdown. The dances were okay. Chinese Yo-Yo and Lion Dance were still in it. The high school students either became older and sluttier or maybe I’m just getting old. I just know that when I was 14, I was not wearing skin tight pants that barely covered my butt. My sister’s dance, “Indian Modern” was actually very good. I liked their costumes and everyone seemed to be very synchronized. I was pretty impressed!
On Saturday, my mom, little sister, and I braved the crowds and went to Roosevelt Field Mall. I was on the mission to make a big investment in the famous Seven Jeans. I went to Bloomingdale’s first. I tried on about ten different pairs of Seven Jeans. I felt very fat. Anyway, I found this pair of unique Seven Jeans, and I was excited to try them on. I got them up and they weren’t overly tight (which is a good thing). My big butt managed to fit all the way in without cutting off any major arteries and veins. Then as I went to button up the jeans, I noticed there was NO BUTTON!! After this disappointment, I returned all the too small and long jeans to the lady at the fitting room. This lady was very irritable, so I tried to stay out of her way. I went back and looked for the right size for this particular style. I was lucky enough to find the perfect size and I ran back in to try it on. PERFECT! The problem with this style is that it was about $20 more than this other style that also fit (but NOT as well). I debated about which pair to purchase. I then decided to call my mom, who was at Macy’s. She told me she was meeting my sister there at 4 pm so she couldn’t come over. I decided to hold the two pairs of jeans at the cashier. I then ventured into Nordstrom’s to try on more jeans. To my disappointment, there was not a large variety of Seven Jeans. In fact there was only one style! When I asked a salesperson about where the Seven Jeans were located, and she told me, “Oh you don’t want to go try those on! I got a new shipment of Chip & Peppers. Come look!” Well before yesterday, I’ve never heard of that brand name, but I knew they must be pretty high end. As expected, the prices were even more expensive than Seven Jeans. The lady then said, “You don’t want to wear the same jeans as everyone else. You don’t want to have that same squiggle on your back pocket! (she was talking about Seven Jeans). Anyway, I tried on a cheaper pair of Chip & Peppers, and they were about 4 inches too long. I felt like a midget! After our late lunch at the food court, my mom, sister, and I returned back to Bloomie’s, and I gave my mom a little fashion show. She agreed that the more expensive pair was nicer, and after 10 minutes in line, I finally bought the most expensive jeans of my life!
After I came home, I was happy to find that my jean style was not available on eBay. It turns out that the style was made exclusively for Bloomingdale’s! Woohoo.
In conclusion, I spent A LOT of money this weekend.
New MAC foundation, lip glass, lip pencil, and shea butter cream: $62
New pair of Seven Jeans: $171.83
Grand Total: $233.83
That’s a lot for me considering the government took $200 from my paycheck on Friday. I am so poor. Oh well. I’m usually not a big spender on clothes, but I thought it was time to invest in jeans that didn’t show my butt crack whenever I bent over. Don’t get me wrong, I will definitely still be wearing my Gap and American Eagle jeans, but I will be enjoying a new pair of high quality jeans as well!
Besides my big shopping spree, I just finished cleaning up my room. I took out about 5 bags full of garbage from my tiny room. It is so clean now. I am so happy. I threw out all these old camp letters I saved. I figured I don’t even talk to these people anymore, so why keep the letters? Haha. I’m pretty heartless I know. Anyhow, it’s taking me way too long to post about my boring life. It is WAY past my bedtime. So I bid you readers good night.
