Dear Mom and Dad,

I just wanted to wish you a great 30th anniversary. I can’t believe you guys have been married for 30 years. That’s almost more than half your life. It must be amazing to be able to live with someone for that long. I hope I can find someone to share my life with like you two have. Thanks for putting up with three daughters. You guys are real troopers.

In other news, I got the job! I will keep you updated about it for sure. I’m starting on Monday, and my last day here is Friday. It might actually be Thursday if everything works out as planned. I might be able to make a little road trip before I start working. It will be great.
