Division Champions!
Sep 30th
Once again, the Yankees have clinched the division. GO YANKEES! I really think Matsui is under-rated. I think without him in the last three games, it would have been a lot harder (almost impossible) for the Yankees to win. Thank you Bernie for that 9th inning homerun. It was beautiful!
I can’t wait until the playoffs! My dream would be to see the Yankees during the playoffs. I guess watching it on TV is good enough for me! I don’t think I could handle the pressure otherwise.

HAHAHA!
Note to self
Sep 23rd
Things to do this weekend:
1) Sleep late (wake up AFTER the sun rises)
2) Upload more music to my iPod
3) Eat some yummy carbs (I wish)
4) Polish up my resume
5) Go see Garden State (or a movie)
6) Go to the gym
7) Buy Ari Hest’s new CD
8) Deposit my paycheck!!
That’s all I can think of for now. I can’t wait until it’s 5:15 pm Friday. FREEDOM!
Good night lovelies.
Happy Autumn!
Sep 22nd
It’s officially Autumn! Why is it supposed to be 85 degrees (F) today? I wouldn’t know since I never leave the building to enjoy the weather. All I know it’s freezing in the office. I’m wearing a jacket and I still think I should have worn a sweater. I have about 1.5 hours of work left. Thank goodness.
Working out
Sep 18th
As my three readers know, I joined a gym last Sunday, and I’ve already gone 5 times. I rock. Today, I went to Cardio Kickboxing. According to the schedule, it was supposed to be from 5:45 to 6:15 or so. Nope, it was for a whole hour. I almost died. It was an AWESOME workout. We did abs at the end too. It was great. I’m definitely going back next Saturday. Tomorrow I’m going to do Step Circuit. Maybe I can trick my mom into going with me.
For you Yankees fan: 1918!!
BOSOX SUCK
Oh lastly, go download Firefox. There have been more than 1 million downloads in less than a week (I think). Awesome!
Temping is the next new thing…
Sep 16th
I’ve been working here for almost two weeks. It’s been mind-numbing. I’ve become a human excel machine. All I do is input numbers into an excel sheet. I do this for about eight hours a day. I arrive at 8 am (not by choice) and leave around 5:15 pm. Surprisingly, the day goes pretty fast once you get past lunch. I’m not sure how one gets his/her check from the temp agency, so I will be calling the agency today. I really need my check since I will be paying off my student loans. Speaking of loans, I discovered I have yet another loan that has NOT been consolidated. Great job Sallie Mae. I HATE YOU. Anyway, I have to fix that little problem. Now I’ll be in debt for another thirty years.
As much as I love N.E.R.D and shortie Pharrell, my co-worker really needs to STOP playing his CD EVERYDAY! Whatever happened to headphones? Also, is it necessary to serenade the entire room? He even sings the entire Maroon 5 cd. Oh yes, he is totally ruining Songs About Jane for me. I have always loved it, and now I’m beginning to hate it.
In conclusion, it is Thursday, which means 1 more day until the weekend. Also, I joined the gym on Sunday, and I have gone everyday. I’m taking a break today though. Yoga is hard. I’m sore. Back to excel.
We will never forget 9/11
Sep 11th
I can’t believe it’s been three years since 9/11. I think the US has taken good security measures in order to prevent such an attack from happening again. I work in the Wall Street area (where the Twin Towers once stood), and I feel a lot safer. There are plenty of police officers. There is pretty intense security at financial companies such as Citigroup. At one of their offices, you need to get your bags x-rayed at those x-ray machines everyday. It’s pretty crazy, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
It really makes me angry to hear some people say that the US got what they deserved with 9/11. There is no reason for civilian lives to be taken just to get a point across. What ever happened to communication. RIP for those who were lost in this great tragedy.
Commuting
Sep 8th
“Due to the water conditions, the [INSERT RANDOM LETTER] has been experiencing signal problems. Please be patient with us.”
After the F train being shut down from 179th street, then the E train having “signal problems”, then the R train dumping us off at 49th street, and then finally being able to take the 2 at Times Square, I have finally made it to wonderful Water St. It only took me a quick 3 hours for this trek. Usually it would take half the time, but due to torrential rains, the Manhattan bound subways were all experiencing problems.
ARGH. Tomorrow the weather will be the same. I think I need to leave my house by 4:30 to get to work on time. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Hello!
Sep 6th
I just thought I’d write a quick little weekend summary. This weekend was dedicated to family time. Yesterday, my little sister and I stayed at my cousin and her fiance’s apartment at one of the nice Trump buildings. It was very nice. We found out about all the famous people who live in nearby buildings. It’s kind of crazy to know that so many famous people can live so close!
This morning we woke up pretty early to go to the Plaza Hotel for brunch. It was a great meal. The service was impeccable. Everytime I got up to get more food, I’d come back with new silverware and a neatly folded napkin. It was nice.
There was also a room dedicated to desserts. It was so delicious! After our wonderful brunch, we walked to Columbus Circle to check out the Time Warner building. My mom is obsessed with the French restaurant, Per Se. She talks about how she wants to eat there for her birthday. We’ll see how that goes!
After checking out how pretty Whole Foods is, we headed back to my sister’s apartment near South Street Seaport. My parents and relatives took a walk around the port while my little sister and I napped. Then I watched the Yankees win a game (WHO KNEW THIS WAS POSSIBLE?). Then we walked to Chinatown to eat dinner.
I came home and read yet another chicklit book, “Bet Me”, by Jennifer Crusie. I really think I should stop reading all these books about an average girl meeting a perfect hot man and then living happily ever after! Although it gives me hope about me finding my own Mr. Right, I get depressed because I know these books are fiction for a reason! Anyhow, I will be reading another Marion Keyes book soon. Oh yeah, I need to watch “Gangs of New York” before September 10. I wonder if it’s a good movie.
Tomorrow, I think I need to go shop for some business casual clothes. I’m starting a temp job at a big financial company on Tuesday, so I guess I should buy a few new items. I’m not sure how long I’ll be working there, so I shouldn’t count my chickens before they hatch. It would be great if the ended up hiring me. I’d be in heaven.
Oh so the main purpose of this entry was to tell you (my fellow readers), that the number one search string for the month of September for my site is: “adam levine pictures”. Adam Levine is quite hot. Too bad my favorite Maroon 5 song, “She Must Be Loved” is being over-played on radio stations and MTV. I’m starting to hate the song.
I will try to paste my top 10 search entries:
Top 20 of 120 Total Search Strings

2 22 6.43% gavin degraw pictures

I can’t believe 3 people actually came to my site because they were doing a search on mosquito bite pictures! Haha. How hilarious! With that, I will bid you readers good night. Sweet dreams.
