This is the life

I can’t believe I’ll be in Hawaii in 24 hours. I’m really excited since it’ll be my first time. I need to get packing, so this will be a short entry (I hope).

As mentioned in my previous entry, I went to Amuse for lunch with my friend and sister. It was really good. The desserts were exceptional. I would love to go back. Apparently, they are doing the price-fixe lunch for the entire year. Isn’t that awesome? $20.04 for a 3 course meal. Not too shabby! After lunch, I took my sister shopping and got her two really cute skirts. I love shopping for my sister because she is skinnier than me so she can wear all the clothes that I can only dream of wearing.

When we finally got back home to Long Island, we started to do laundry. I thought about going straight to the mall so we could get tickets for the 8 pm showing of Fahrenheit 9/11. Then my dad called me at home and told me he wanted to watch the anti-Bush movie (surprise!). So we got to the movie theater at 7:35 pm or so and the 8, 9, and 10 pm shows were all sold out. It was kind of crazy. I ended up buying tickets for the 11 pm show. I knew my dad and sister would probably end up sleeping through the movie.

We decided to go to The Cheesecake Factory. It wasn’t too crowded because of the horrible rainy weather. We only waited an hour before there was a table for us. I’ve waited 2 hours for a table. For a Friday night, that is a really fast wait. I got my favorite Luau Salad. Mmmm. I love having nuts and fruits in my salad. I guess I’m just weird.

I guess this entry is getting a bit long. Rather than go on forever about Fahrenheit 9/11. I will just say that I enjoyed it very much. I learned a lot of things about GW that I had no idea about before. I guess it was a big lesson for me. I think my dad learned a lot about his favorite president as well. I could tell that this movie was clearly made to portray GW in a very bad light. I think Michael Moore succeeded very well. There were some unexpected graphic scenes, and there was a part where I wanted to cry. For an independent film, I think Farenheit 9/11 is doing great. I can’t believe all the shows were sold out! I had no idea that many people would even want to watch it. I guess it’s really time for a new president. Moore showed GW as a dumb moron. There were all these stupid quotes that Bush said. It was kind of sad that this man is our president. I hope he won’t be president for another 4 years.

Well, I have to go start and finish packing. Oh yeah, I bought, Matt Nathanson’s CD, Beneath These Fireworks. I’ve been playing it for 2 days. I love the CD. Everyone go buy his CD! It was only $9.99 at Best Buy.

Edit:
Someone just e-mailed me to inform me that I am the #5 site on Yahoo search when you search: i’m drunk and bored and want an entertaining website. I feel so proud to have made it to this list! Thanks Jeff )
