woo! i survived yet another week of school. i haven’t updated much because of my boring life at cmu. hehe. today, i lost my key and id card, and i was completely devastated. i found out that it will cost me $60 to replace my key since they will have to replace the entire lock. that’s so ridiculous. i wish they would just copy my roommate’s key. most of the time i would have bought my new id card as soon as possible, but this time i tried to relax. i called julyan and told her to leave our door unlocked. i couldn’t even go to the gym because you need your id card. i went to the info desk to see if anyone had dropped of my id, but of course it wasn’t there. then i went to the campus police to see if someone dropped it off there. not surprisingly they hadn’t found it either. i walked home sadly looking for my id on the ground. i figured that it would have probably blown away by now if no one picked it up. i decided to make grilled chicken salad at around 6:30 pm because i was all depressed. after my good dinner, i checked my email (in hopes of receiving an email from a good samaritan), and THERE IT WAS. the email that made my sucky day turn into a happy day. some guy found it and he lives only 2 minutes from my apartment. it turns out that lynne knows him so we go together and to get my key. i asked him where he found my key, and he said that his roommate got it from some girl who picked it up. yay! so to the girl who cared to pick up my id/key, THANKS SO MUCH!!
in other news, here is the friday five:
1. What housekeeping chore(s) do you hate doing the most?
laundry because everyone mysteriously disappears when i start a load. also, at school, i hate when i pick the “broken” washer/dryer. it totally ruins my day. 
2. Are there any that you like or don’t mind doing?
i don’t mind doing dishes. i guess i’ve grown up washing dishes, so it’s not a big deal to me. 
3. Do you have a routine throughout the week or just clean as it’s needed?
well, i just try to make it an effort to clean my desk area once a week. also, i try to wash all my dishes within a day. also, i do my laundry weekly.
4. Do you have any odd cleaning/housekeeping quirks or rules?
hmm, not that i know of.
5. What was the last thing you cleaned?
my dishes!
oh yeah, i’m supposed to go to this asian party tonight. i’m really not looking forward to it, but it’s free before 11 pm, so i guess i’ll go. also, ji is going to drive me, so yay.
