i’m so tired. i only got 4 hours of sleep last night. i’m amazed that i’m still functioning at 10 pm. i didn’t do much today. i took my not so fun social psych test. the multiple choice was pretty easy, but the short answer wasn’t as fun. i had lunch with my friends. it was my first time getting food at the trucks this semester. ever since i’ve made this new lifestyle change and minimized my carb intake, i have avoided the trucks since everything comes with rice or noodles. i was bad and got a gyro. i figured that would have the least amount of carbs. after lunch, i went to the gym. i know it’s bad to work out right after eating, but it was like 30 minutes after, so it wasn’t so bad. i ran for 40 minutes and then i walked for 5 minutes. i burned about 500 calories (according to the machine). i did some weights. i don’t see any muscle definition in my biceps/triceps. oh well. i guess i’m flab for life. after my workout, i went to work to make my whopping $12 today. haha. i found out that this other worker had dropped her shift, so it’d just be me and this other guy working on mondays and wednesdays at 3-5. yay. that means i probably won’t have to do boring shelf-reading. today i got to sit at the circ desk and just check out books. what a good day. oh yes, i found my ring that i thought i lost. it was in my cd bag. hehe. i came home from work, showered, did hw, ate dinner. i read for about 3 hours about buddhism and corporate strategy. it was much fun. i was going to start my short reaction paper tonight, but it’s not due until thursday, so i figured i’d take tonight off. i’ll start writing it tomorrow. it’s only 1.5 pages double spaced, so it shouldn’t be so bad. it’s so cold in pittsburgh now. i heard it’s going to drop to 35 tonight. brr. what a cold night. i’ve noticed that pittsburgh weather goes from really warm to really cold in a matter of a day. it’s kind of weird. right now i’m just doing the finishing touches to my webdesign hw. i finally learned how to make a layout on photoshop! woohoo. if i ever stop being lazy, maybe i will make a layout for asianglow. ooh!! who would have thought? anyway, i’m going to go watch food network because it rocks! good night <3

wow i was very unproductive today. i woke up at 10 am. then i chilled until noon. then i made my lunch/breakfast. grace, lynne, drea, and i went to shadyside to check out express’s fall 50-80% sale. it really wasn’t worth it. all the stuff on sale was ugly and nasty. also, there were shirts still going for $25. what kind of sale is that? today i was lucky enough to forget to bring my umbrella, and after we left express, it started to rain. boohoo. i got kinda wet, so we decided to go to panera. i just recently remembered that my old roomie from last year gave me a $10 gift certificate there. i ended up spending it on a half a sandwich and salad. i can’t believe i broke down and had a non whole wheat sandwich. i feel so bad. oh well. :/ we got back at around 3 pm and then grace, lynne, and i started to bak ethe delicious red velvet cake that we saw martha stewart make on her show. it came out really good. the frosting itself required 1 lb of powdered sugar. it was super sweet. we made the cake for ashley’s belated birthday thing. i hung out at lynne’s futon after we finished baking. i also removed all this spyware stuff on grace’s computer. before we knew it, it was time for dinner. lynne made this really good chicken and i made this egg pancake called “dan bing” in chinese. my friends liked it yummy. after dinner we quickly got changed and went to watch “the italian job”. i though it was pretty good. i heard some mixed reviews about that movie, but i personally liked it. the mini coopers in the cars were so cute too. after the movie, we came home and got ready to head out to this party ashley was co-hosting. we brought along our yummy cake. the party turns out to be this big artsy/drama pj party. we arrived, mingled a little and had cake. we danced for a bit, and then headed home. at that point i realized that i needed to start studying for social psychology. i started to make a review sheet for the exam. i have one chapter done! yay. i think i will do the rest tomorrow. it sucks that i have work. blah! okay i’ll stop rambling now. gnite! <3

wow what a long week. i was kind of stressed out this week because i had another case study due. this time it was on southwest airlines. also, i had a presentation on thursday. i had a paper due on friday along with a macro exam. ahh. the exam was really crappy even thought i studied over 12 hours for it. and no i didn’t cram it into all one night. :/ it was just one of those tests where the professor decided to give out a practice exam that’s supposed to be of equal difficulty as the actual exam. as usual, he lied to us. the actual exam was totally different than the practice. and no, i wasn’t expecting an exact copy, but the actual exam was all definition/theory based while the practice was all numbers. argh. whatever, at least it’s over right?

in other news, i managed to get a 19/20 on my first corporate strategy case. i’m really happy about that because the highest grade was a 19. i’m sure other people in my class got 19s too, but the average was a 15! ahh. anyway, hrm. what else do i have to update you guys about. oh this job search thing is really getting to me. i’ve applied to countless positions via company websites and my school’s monstertrak. i have yet to be preselected for an interview. i guess it’s really hard to choose when there’s like 100 other students who are applying for the same position. i have a social psychology exam on monday. i better get started in studying. i’m going to see “the italian job” tonight i think. i heard the movie was pretty good. oh i’ve been working on my john mayer website for my web design class. it looks pretty good. i’d link you guys, but i’m sure you’d laugh at me. oh what’s up with this guy commenting on my website and spamming me? i think i will go ahead and delete his stupid comment. how is everyone doing? oh yes now here is the most important news.
