fall is here…

wow i can’t believe it’s august 31 already. that means summer is almost over. ahh. where did the summer go? well i didn’t do much this weekend. rather than go to the stupid asian party on friday night, i stayed in and watched “office space” with grace at her place. that movie cracks me up! i love when the employees beat up the stupid copy machine. i’d love to do that with my kpr xerox machine. everytime i made a copy, there would be a paper jam. it was soo annoying. then it’d tell me to open part #2 to take out the paper jam. it was such a pain. anyway, yesterday i went to robinson mall and it was quite nice. i ended up just buying one shirt at american eagle. some creepy guy tried to pick me up at the gap. he was like “hi i’m jason”. then he’s like, “can i go shopping with you?” i kept trying to walk away from him. and he’s like “stop walking away from me!” what a punk. i ran to julyan and emily because he was creeping me out. hmm, today i went to waterfront with grace, lynne, and jonathon. we went to giant eagle. i bought this 98% fat free sugar free ice cream sandwiches by eskimo pie. it’s made from splenda. i hope it tastes okay. D i’m going to try it tonight. i’m making spicy tofu with ground turkey tonight. in chinese it’s called ma po dou fu. it’s tasty. my mom bought me a little box that comes with the sauce and all you do is put in the tofu and the ground meat. i hope i don’t screw it up!! ) oh i did laundry today. i wasted 75 cents on the dryer because i didn’t know it was broken. oh well. i will know next time not to use that evil dryer!! okay, well i’m going to start cooking now. bye <3

first week over

wow i survived the first week back to school. it’s only going to get worse and worse after this week. ahh. well i’m going to enjoy our 3 day weekend. i think the next vacation we get is mid-semester break in october. how exciting right? i have two classes today then i might go to the gym and work out. haha. i’m so obsessed over this gym thing. oh yeah, here is my friday five:

1. Are you going to school this year?
yep, senior at college. i’m old i know!

2. If yes, where are you going (high school, college, etc.)? If no, when did you graduate?
oh well, i already answered that. i go to cmu.

3. What are/were your favorite school subjects?
back in high school i guess my favorite subject up to junior year was math. now, i really have no idea. maybe philosophy? )

4. What are/were your least favorite school subjects?
english because i’m really bad in writing. :/

5. Have you ever had a favorite teacher? Why was he/she a favorite?
i guess last semester i had two pretty cool professors. they were very accomodating and just friendly. they were my marketing and oral communications professors. too bad my marketing professor went to another university to teach. (

ok have a great labor day weekend guys. <3

happy thursday

4 more classes until the weekend. ) my friends and i went to see “whale rider” on tuesday. it’s a really good movie. lynne, who was sitting next to me cried throughout the entire movie. it was quite sad, but amazingly i didn’t break down and start sobbing like my friends. haha. good thing we were the only people in the theater. actually there were 2 other people, but they sat behind us. the movie won some film festival; i think the sundance film festival. it’s about new zealand’s aborigines. it’s pretty cool. their accents are very nice. anyway, i started work yesterday and i already had my first rude patron of the semester. this guy asked me if we provide bags. i said no, but my boss nancy said maybe we have a grocery bag in the back. so i went to ask arnette, and lucky enough we had a spare bag. i gave it to him, and he looked at me rudely and said, “i think this bag will break”. i checked out his THREE books and gave them to him. a couple of seconds laster he comes back and throws the bag at me and walks out. there was no “thanks, but i’ll carry these three little books by myself”. how rude. arnette was very annoyed when he came back and gave me the bag. what kind of person can’t carry THREE books? what a weakling. work was fun, arnette asked if i lost weight. haha. i guess it’s kinda obvious. yay! i refuse to gain weight this year! i have chinese culture and society at 10:30 it’s a pretty interesting class because a british man is teaching it. i had to buy 5 books for this class. it better be worth it! i also have publishing on the www this afternoon, but corporate strategy is cancelled. yay!!
