i had a great time yesterday even though three of my friends ditched me last minute. i’m kind of glad they couldn’t come because then there would be just too many people. i had ribs and chicken for dinner. it was mm mmm good. shirley and imee bought me a texan sized strawberry daiquiri and it was yummy. after our feast, we finally decided to go to some texmex place in the village. it was really cute, and erin and i shared a brownie dessert. it was great!! shirley got these really spicy nacho chips. for the longest time she kept saying the chips were spicy, and i was eating the chips plain, and they tasted just fine. then she gave me a chip with tons of guacamole and it was so freaking spicy. ahh. my mouth was on fire. oh yeah, we had sangria too!! most of the time i hate sangria because it tastes like crap, but last night’s sangria wasn’t bitter, so i drank it anyway. i had a great time last night. i just realized how much i miss my high school friends, and i will really try to hang out with them more when i’m home. thanks everyone for coming! oh yeah, here are pictures i took.

yay it’s finally friday and i’m actually doing something tonight. i’m having dinner with my friends at dallas bbq. yay!! i don’t know what i should talk about. this week has been uneventful. i do nothing at work except make photocopies, pull out ads, and pick up phones. i officially only have 2 more weeks here. i can’t wait to leave. maybe then people will realize how much i do here. why does the unpaid intern have to work on every single friday while paid employees get every other friday off. i call it slave labor. tomorrow i might be going out with the family to have dim sum. it might be the last time before i go back to shittsburgh. ugh. okay, so a month ago, the dmv sent mea letter telling me that my license was going to expire on my birthday. since i couldn’t renew it online, i had to go to the dmv and wait for like an hour. about a couple weeks later i got my license and it still said “under 21″. grr. just yesterday i got ANOTHER license, but this one doesn’t have the red “under 21″. i don’t know why they don’t extend the expiration date until after your 21st bday so they can save money. blahblahblah. oh yeah, as if i haven’t advertised this enough. go join charm. thanks!! <3

once again it is wednesday!! yay. 2 more days of work. hurrah!! i want to say thanks for all the people who commented about my birthday. i guess turning 21 isn’t so bad. it poured really hard yesterday. there was thunder and lightning. my family and i went to legal seafoods for dinner. it was sooo yummy. since my little sister forgot to bake me one of those mix cakes, i ordered their “birthday cake”. oh my, it was divine!! three layers of absolute heaven. i love chocolate cake!! mm. my dad got cheesecake (to share of course) and diana got key lime pie (not my favorite). all in all, it was a good birthday. i didn’t drink at all. i plan on doing that on friday. heehee. it’ll be nice to use my own id for once when i go out.

today i went on the e train and there was absolutely no a/c in my train and the one next to it. so everyone was coming into ours, and then they realized we had no a/c as well. it was pretty brutal since there were like 100 people in my train alone. very stuffy, sweaty, and smelly. after i finally got out of the stinkfest, i went to get on the m15. it took forever for a bus to stop, and it was raining. my capris were basically soaked. it was marvelous. i found out that i have to fill as the receptionist on friday. joy. i can’t wait until my jailtime is over. august 8th is getting closer and closer. okay, wow only one hour before my bedtime. how sad is that? i feel like an old grandma. toodles my loves. good night!
