this event happened a couple of weeks ago. ji and i were assigned to going to the ghetto giant eagle on centre avenue. i was kind of excited because it was my first time there. i had heard so much about this horrible place. hehe. so we walk there, and whoa once we got onto centre avenue, everything turned very ghetto. it was kind of scary. good thing the sun was out. so we finally got to giant eagle and bought our coke and left. on the way back, an african american woman walks up to us and says “can you spare any change?” the truth of the matter is that i was not carrying any money whatsoever, so we both said “sorry”. then she’s like, “sorry for what? sorry for coming to the united states?” ji and i were speechless. we could have taken her right there and then! two little asians! grr. i’m sure we’d get tackled on right after by all the other thugs, but still!! i remember this saying, “don’t bite the hand that feeds you” (or something to that extent). another one that could apply to this situation is, “beggars can’t be choosers”. ok i am done ranting.

in other news, yes the yankees lost. what is wrong with them? i’m very sad about all their losses . boohoo. i am doing laundry now. there is so much stuff. wahh. i stored boxes last night. what a workout! i’m going over to j’s to bake cookies. i’m bringing over a lot of ingredients because i have so much leftover. =) ok well i’m going to go get ready!
