who would have thought today would be an overcast day? pittsburgh weather is such a drag. there are no surprises. it’s either overcast, cold, rainy, or all of the above. so i just woke up. nothing much going on around here. i’m supposed to be having lunch with grace soon. i haven’t seen her since saturday. hehe. it’ll be nice. =) i have work from 3-5. then i’m going to mis office hours since i can’t go to freakin finance hours. grr. work really sucks. next week i have my 2nd finance exam; i’m really not looking forward to it. i’m sorry i only blog about how sucky school is, but my life is really boring, there’s nothing else to talk about!

well today was an ok day. classes weren’t that strenuous. finance seemed to fly by. it was kind of nice. marketing was boring as usual. i didn’t learn anything new. mis was the same. we used access and stuff. exciting stuff! at 4:30, i went to an internship meeting. the career consultant explained to us how to get an internship. basically, we have to pick 50 companies we’re interested in and send them our resumes and cover letters. i don’t even know 50 companies! i’m so stressed out about this internship thing. who would want to hire me? a kid at the meeting brought up a point that we have so much school work, that we don’t have enough time to send out 50 resumes to 50 different companies. i feel like i should quit school and just focus on getting an internship. boohoo. so far i’ve applied to 1 internship. i think it’s still a little to early to be applying for internships. i’ve been looking on monstertrak, and most of the internships are for right now or next semester! anyway, after i came home, i had dinner and attempted to finish my mis hw. i also did laundry. blargh. i just read a sad article about the university of az shootings. i hate when stupid people go on a killing spree and then end up kiling themselves because they are too chicken to deal with the consequences for making such a stupid decision. grr. ok well, that’s all i have to babble about now. leave me a comment if you love me. <3

i can’t believe another weekend has come and gone. i didn’t really do anything exciting this weekend. on friday i went over to grace’s apartment and she made dinner and we baked. we also managed to watch like 3 hours of law and order. grace is addicted to that show! hehe. on saturday, i went to work on my marketing homework with my friends. it was very quick since i already did the regression. ooh. for dinner, grace, tania, and i went to winner’s to get cheap food. mm. after dinner i went to see ben folds in concert. it was a free concert at carnegie mellon. he was really cool. he liked to talk a lot with the audience. during the opening acts, i was taking pictures of duncan sheik, but then my low battery icon came up and i freaked out. i ended up going home and charging my camera for 30 minutes so i could take pics of ben folds. i have like one decent picture of ben folds. oh here is a picture of my ben folds ticket. haha. i liked his music a lot. i loved his rant about how he hates korn. also, i liked his song called “song for the dumped”. he was very angry when he sang that song. ok well i have nothing to really to do today. just work and maybe finish the dreaded finance homework. bye <3
