hi everyone. so carnival is officially over. boohoo. hmm what to babble about. on friday grace, tania, and me went to the reel big fish concert at the gym. the opening band was weird. they were a little too rockish for me. finally, reel big fish cam on stage, and like the crowd went wild. all the local kids squeezed together. people started to body surf. i kept getting pushed around. i was in the second row. i tried to protect erin from the crazy people since she was in front of me. reel big fish was pretty cool minus the crazy crowd. i liked the trumpet player. he was cute, plus i had a great view of him. i did realize that i probably can never go to a nin concert because i’d probably get trampled on.

saturday i really didn’t do anything. i got a free lunch at this picnic. it was pretty decent. i can’t believe the alumni has to pay 10 bucks for the food. haha. sucks for them. i went to see fireworks with my friends. they were pretty ghetto, but it was still exciting. then julyan and i decided to ride the “skydiver” at the carnival. it was the most painful ride ever. we spent the whole time screaming from pain. we were like “let us out!”. haha. after we walked to ji’s apartment at fairfax and watched “bandits”. it was a pretty good movie, but it was a little too long in the middle. that girl cate blanchett played was a little too hoeish for me. i won’t give away anything else.

today was another uneventful day. grace, lynne, and i went to oakland and finally tried this korean restaurant that everyone has been talking about. my meal was only 5.25. it rocked. i got beef dumpling with rice cakes. i also got a bowl of rice and salad with it. yummy! ok well, i’m off to do some homework. go look at carnival pics.
