hi guys. i really haven’t had the time to blog about my exciting and stressful life at cmu. so as you guys know, i had this huge biz comm presentation on friday. we spent 7 hours doing that stupid thing thursday-friday morning. we planned on meeting at 12:30 to practice our presentation since we never had a runthrough. so louis and i are outside of simon auditorium all ready to practice. sharon calls and says she’s getting our stuff printed and that she’ll be there in 15 minutes. this was like at 12 pm. so we wait and she doesn’t come. so louis and i start practicing our parts. she calls again and says there’s a problem with the printing place. she ends up showing up at 1:25 when our class starts at 1:30. so we never had our runthrough. it sucked. oh yeah she forgot to bring the powerpoint presentation so she had to ask her stupid boyfriend to email it to us. it was horrible. our presentation was messed up because sharon decided to change the entire order, which confused me. argh. anyway, i suck in giving presentations. julyan told me that it didn’t seem that we worked any harder than any other group. so whatever. i’m pissed. friday was pretty busy. i had to tutor kids to earn another 10 points for my business class. woo. i earned 50 points this week. i’m halfway to an a! awesome. then i had an ob meeting at 6:30. i watched some cmu bands at the underground and then came back up to take a nice long nap until like 10 pm. that rocked. i did some regression hw and relaxed.

on saturday i woke up at like 1:oo pm. it was awesome. i thought my review was at 2:30, but right before i left i found out it was at 2:00 pm. argh. anyway i went there and then julyan came and we were both like what is the professor saying? we didn’t understand at all. so we left and went to baker to do some regression stuff. argh. regression takes forever. i didn’t even finish it last night. i emailed the professor as usual. and as usual he thinks i’m stupid. last night julyan, grace, lynne, and i went to some lame party at cat man. 99% of the guys there were gay. it was pretty dumb. we left and went to dtd at around midnight. you’d think there would be people partying, but of course there weren’t. dtd was dead. grr. so sad. we went home before 1 am, and that was it. i didn’t really do anything after that. watched tv. i went to bed.

today i woke up at noon, finished my regression hw, and began to study for evil micro. i found out that my ta taught us how to do all these problems differently than the professor and other ta. i didn’t even understand my professor’s answer key. it was so sad. anyway, now i know what consumer surplus, producer’s surplus, and deadweight loss now. go me. now i’m going to review compensating and equivalent variables. yay. micro is so fun. i have a regression exam on wednesday. joy. i can’t wait until spring break. 6 more days baby! la here we come!
