yesterday my friends and i went to waterfront and did some major shopping! grace and tania bought stuff at marshall’s and dsw. i was going to buy some stuff, but they didn’t have my size, so i was way behind by the time we got to old navy. well i kind of caught up at old navy. i bought two pairs of jeans, pj bottoms, shirt, and a jean trench coat. woohoo. then we went to target and i bought all this cheap food. poptarts, applesauce, goldfish, pretzels, and i don’t remember what else. yum. shopping releases so much stress! i came back at 8 and did some homework. then i just chilled with tania and and then went to visit grace and julyan. fun stuff. anyway. today i just did my stats lab and procrastinated! i bought my plane tickets for christmas break. it was only $86.75! so cheap! hehe. i thought plane ticket prices would go up, but i guess not. :p well i went to the gym today even though i totally didn’t feel like it. i must exercise! ok next weekend my parents are coming. i’m so excited! :p haha. well i’m goign to shower now. gnite.

it’s finally friday. i got my paycheck today! woohoo. i’m rich. now i’m going to spend it tomorrow shopping! haha. great. i’m so hungry…i hate eating after 5 pm. i get so starving. oh well, i ordered new speakers for my computer. i’m such a geek. i guess that’s not a surprise since i go to cmu. haha. ok well that’s it for my short blog update.

yesterday my friend grace called me up and told me that her computer had yet another virus. i don’t know why i’ve been given the computer whiz position by all my friends. i really don’t know how to fix computers and such. anyway, i went upstairs and brought along my windows 98 and norton antivirus 2002 cds. i let norton boot up and it attempted to scan her entire hd. after an hour just sitting there waiting and reading cosmo, i decided enough was enough. i cancelled the scan and just finished installing 2002 on her computer. it immediate quarantined a bunch of files saying that grace was infected with the nimda worm. how great. i then went to the norton website to do some research on this worm and found out that i’d have to run fixnimda.com. anyway, i think everything’s fixed now. i told grace to use windows update, but i doubt she knows how. oh well, at least now she has antivirus, maybe she won’t be getting two viruses every month! she had antivirus 2000, but she never ran it. isn’t that great? people like grace need to have his/her hard drives reformatted so that he/she will actually try to treat his/her computer nicely by running an antivirus program! anyway, that’s my rant for today. and next time, i’m going to think about charging for my services. two hours wasted sitting there waiting for norton to finish scanning. this problem could have been easily avoided if only….ok well time for work!
